Assorted Mclusky B-sides

Well despite the first two parts being all the way back in September. Here's the conclusive post to the Mclusky trilogy. Instead of sharing some material from their last release which I didn't really care for. I thought I'd give any Mclusky fan boys who read this page, a bit of a treat. This is a collection of my favorite b-sides from the now defunct Welsh lads. How some of these didn't make the final cut is beyond me. Listening to "Random Celebrity Insult Generator" quickly descend in to complete chaos is always fun and "Hymn For New Cars" shows the band at their snide best.

A former Mclusky member will possibly be releasing a record with his new band Shooting At Unarmed Men this year, more info on that as I discover it.

Mclusky - Exciting Whistle-ah
Mclusky - Random Celebrity Insult Generator
Mclusky - Hymn For New Cars
Mclusky - Beacon For Pissed Wimps

No problem guys. To nik: I had no idea they'd even released an album yet. Some fanboy I am. I'll have to check that out very soon.

I just looked up Shooting at Unarmed Men at the Too Pure website and discovered that at in about two weeks they are releasing a compilation called Mcluskyism in two versions: a single disc and a 3CD set with lots of rare and live stuff OH SHIT!

Jon: I noticed that on amazon when I was getting the link for this post. The 3 disc set looks fuckin' tight. What was I going to do with £20 anyway?

Bethanne: Thanks dude. I just discovered your page recently and it's great stuff you've got going there. Your blog has a great community feel to it.
