Million Dead - Harmony No Harmony

This year I received two music related kicks in the balls. The first struck in January with the break up of Mclusky and the second came a few months ago with Million Dead throwing in the towel. Not a good year for my favorite bands. Fortunately with Million Dead, they managed to give us one final corker of a record as well as some fantastic farewell shows.
So here's another addition to the best records of the year. Million Dead's swan song. Whilst it maintained their debut LP's fierce and intelligent political outlook, there seemed to be a generally calmer tone to the record as well as a more experimental feel to some of the tracks. It seemed like the record of a band with a bright future. A band in their youth and with everything to look forward to. So much for that.
