Jeff Beck - You Had It Coming

This one is for all those retarded little popular culture suckers who have been given the misguided thought that "insert shitty metal guitarist here" is some kind of god. Listen up people, Jeff Beck has been laying waste to all your dull idols for decades now with his effortless yet amazing guitar work. Whether it was his time with the Yardbirds or him ripping the shit out of his frets solo style, he's always shamed every other guitarist out there.

I've said before that by large, technical musicianship bores the hell out of me, Jeff has always transcended that thin line between guitar wankery and a catchy and interesting riff. All his music is basically impossible to play but the tunes still get caught in your head for days afterwards. On this record he also rarely feels vocals are on any level necessary as he thought the guitar was powerful enough with out accompaniment, he was right on every level. The three tracks below are perfect demonstrations. Little to no vocals, always done by someone else if any (he hates his singing) but some of the most fantastic guitar work you're going to here.

Dirty Mind
Rollin' And Tumblin'
Left Hook
